We know plans change. Our policy is built around a single, easy-to-remember rule — and we honour it consistently across every tour.
1. The 96-hour rule
Cancel 96 hours or more before your tour start time → 100% refund.
Cancel less than 96 hours before → no refund.
The window is measured from the local start time printed on your booking confirmation. "Tour start time" means the scheduled departure of the tour itself (not your hotel pickup time). 96 hours is exactly 4 days — so a tour starting Friday 9:00 AM can be cancelled free until Monday 9:00 AM the same week.
Why 96 hours and not 24? Because we run small-group tours and hold seats. A late cancellation almost always means an empty seat we can't resell.
2. Daily group tours
Applies to: Canadian & American Tour, Canadian Side, American Side, Illumination, Mystery of the Mist, USA Express, Winter Wonderland.

3. Private tours
Applies to: Private Deluxe Tour, Private American-Side Tour, and any custom private itinerary.

4. From-NYC day tours
Applies to: NYC All-American Tour and NYC Canadian & American Tour.

5. Airport transfers
Applies to: BUF, YYZ and IAG transfers to or from Niagara hotels.

If you're already in the air and your flight gets diverted or significantly delayed, call us as soon as you land — we track inbound flights and will hold or reschedule wherever possible.
6. Group bookings (15+ guests)
Group bookings are governed by the deposit and cancellation schedule written into your group contract. Typical terms:
- Deposit: 25% non-refundable, due at signing.
- Balance: due 14 days before tour date.
- Cancellation 30+ days out: deposit forfeit, balance refunded.
- Cancellation 14–29 days out: 50% of total forfeit.
- Cancellation under 14 days: 100% of total forfeit.
- Headcount reductions: up to 10% reduction allowed free up to 7 days before tour; further reductions charged at per-seat rate.
Your group coordinator will confirm the exact schedule in writing before any payment is taken.
7. Weather, mechanical & operator changes
If we have to cancel — for severe weather, road closures, vehicle issues, or an attraction operator's closure that materially changes the experience — you get a full refund or a free reschedule, your choice. We will never keep your money if the tour didn't run as advertised.
Where an attraction is closed but a comparable substitute is available (e.g. Cave of the Winds during Maid of the Mist's winter break, or vice versa), the tour runs and is not refundable on that basis.
8. No-shows and late arrivals
Pickup times are confirmed by email the day before. Please be at the pickup point 5 minutes early. We can wait a maximum of 5 minutes per hotel before we have to leave for the next stop — guests on the bus deserve the schedule they booked. Missed pickups are treated as no-shows and are not refundable.
If you've missed a pickup, call +1 647 477 1520 immediately — sometimes we can arrange a self-drive meet-up at the first attraction.
9. How to cancel
To cancel, please email [email protected] with:
- Your booking reference (in your confirmation email)
- Lead guest name
- Tour name and date
- Reason (optional, but helps us improve)
The cancellation timestamp is the time your email arrives in our inbox. For last-minute cancellations inside business hours (8AM–8PM EST), please also call +1 647 477 1520 so we don't miss the window.
10. Refund timing
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method:
- Card payments: 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
- Bank transfers / group invoices: within 10 business days.
- Refund confirmation: a separate email is sent the moment we issue the refund on our side.
11. Edge cases
Illness or injury
We feel for you, but we can't make medical exceptions to the 96-hour rule — it isn't fair to other guests who follow the policy. We strongly recommend travel insurance with a "cancellation for any reason" component for trips planned far in advance.
Border refusal
If a guest in a multi-guest booking is refused entry at the border, the rest of the party continues on the tour and is not refunded. The refused guest's portion is also non-refundable.
Inbound flight delay (non-airport-transfer tours)
If you booked a tour for the day you fly in and your flight is delayed past pickup time, your booking is treated as a no-show. We recommend booking a tour for the day after you arrive.
Tour rescheduling by you
Free if requested 96+ hours before original tour start, subject to availability on the new date. Inside 96 hours, treated as a cancellation.
Gift cards & vouchers
Unused gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase and are non-refundable once issued.
