We're a small family-run tour company. We collect only what we need to run your tour, get you to the bus on time, and reply when you have a question. We don't sell your information. Ever.
1. Who we are
This site is operated by Niagara Falls Tours America, a family-run tour business based at 316 Prospect Street, Niagara Falls, NY 14303, USA. References to "we", "us" or "our" mean Niagara Falls Tours America. References to "you" mean the visitor or customer using this site or booking a tour.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Booking details: name, email, phone, hotel address, date of visit, number of guests, ages of children, country of citizenship (for border-crossing tours).
- Enquiry forms: anything you type into our quote, contact or airport-transfer forms.
- Payment: card payments are processed by our payment partner (Stripe). We don't store your full card number on our servers.
Information collected automatically
- Basic web logs: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, referring site.
- Cookies for site preferences and anonymous analytics (see Section 4).
3. How we use it
- To run your tour (pickup logistics, attraction ticketing, guide assignment).
- To contact you with confirmations, reminders, weather updates and changes.
- To answer your questions and provide quotes.
- To improve the site (anonymous analytics).
- To comply with legal obligations (tax records, border-related documentation requests).
We do not use your information for unrelated marketing, profiling, or any other purpose without your consent.
4. Cookies & analytics
We use a small number of cookies:
- Essential cookies: keep the site working (e.g. remembering you've dismissed a banner).
- Analytics cookies: anonymous aggregate counts via privacy-respecting analytics. No cross-site tracking. No advertising IDs.
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings without breaking the booking flow.
5. Sharing & selling
We don't sell your data. We share it only with the processors required to deliver your tour:
- Payment: Stripe (card processing).
- Email: a transactional email provider for confirmations.
- Hosting: a North American cloud host with appropriate security commitments.
- Attraction operators: Maid of the Mist, Skylon Tower, Cave of the Winds — only the minimum required for your ticket (typically headcount and date).
- Border authorities: only if specifically required by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or Canada Border Services Agency in connection with your tour.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to:
- See the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct any inaccuracies.
- Delete your data (subject to legal record-keeping obligations, e.g. tax records).
- Export your booking data.
- Opt out of any non-transactional emails.
Email [email protected] with "Privacy request" in the subject line and we'll respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use TLS (HTTPS) across the site, store data with reputable cloud providers, and limit internal access on a need-to-know basis. No system is ever 100% secure — if a breach happens that affects you, we'll notify you in line with applicable U.S. state law.
8. Children
Our tours are family-friendly and child guests are welcome — but bookings can only be made by adults aged 18+. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent.
9. Updates
We may update this policy from time to time (for example, when we add a new processor or change a tool). The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last changed. Material changes will be highlighted on the homepage.
