The Falls by day are unforgettable — by night they're magic. This evening tour pairs the Maid of the Mist and Cave of the Winds with the coloured illumination of the Falls after dark.

Most visitors only ever see the Falls in daylight. This evening tour gives you both worlds: you ride the Maid of the Mist boat and walk the decks of Cave of the Winds while there's still light, then stay on as the sun drops and the Falls light up in a slow wash of colour. It's the most photogenic window of the whole day.
Everything happens inside Niagara Falls State Park on the American side — no border, no passport. Because the boat season is short and these evening departures run on select dates, spots go quickly. On clear nights you may also catch the fireworks over the gorge.
Watch coloured lights wash across the Falls after sunset.
Ride the boat into the spray at the base of the Falls.
Walk the decks beside the Bridal Veil Falls before dusk.
On weather-permitting evenings, catch the fireworks over the gorge.
Gather with your guide at the park education building as the late-day light softens.
Board the boat and head out to the base of the Falls — ponchos provided.
Descend into the gorge and walk the decks, with the optional Hurricane Deck.
Settle into a prime viewpoint as the Falls turn through their colours after dark.
On clear nights, end with the fireworks lighting up the sky over the gorge.
No. The whole evening stays on the U.S. side, so there's no border crossing and no passport needed.
Evening departures run on select dates during the Maid of the Mist season (roughly April into early November, with the earliest illumination dates around April–May). Availability is limited, so book ahead.
Fireworks run on a seasonal schedule and only on clear nights, so we can't promise them — but the coloured illumination of the Falls happens every evening, rain or shine.
